Pros: Essentially a sister unit to the Bel RX-75. Just as with the portable versions (Escort 8500 X50 versus Bel Pro RX-65) you’ve got excellent detection range and outstanding false alarm filtering. Also, as with the Bel Pro RX-75, an enhanced version is available (Escort SRX) which adds laser jamming capability.

Cons: The same basic issues as with the Bel Pro RX-75. Additionally, lacks the voice alert capability of the RX-75, which can be quite useful.

Bottom Line: If you don’t mind giving up a voice alert feature, just as perfect a choice as the Bel Pro RX-75 if you prefer a built-in, concealed detector.
