Multiple Threat - Bogey Counter
This feature lets you to know the quantity of radar signals present. So what?
Here’s why: the really sneaky cops will often work in pairs. The first one is
merely a decoy. You detector beeps, you come upon the first guy, then you’ll
think it’s OK to get up to speed again once you’re past him. Then, just a bit
further down the road is his buddy, the guy that’s actually the one positioned
to nail you. With a signal counter, you’ll know up front that there are two
signals present, tipping you off to the real threat. Additionally, a conniving
cop might set up shop near a grocery store, for example. He’s hoping that the
motorists that drive past regularly will assume the beeping is the door opener
on the grocery and not bother to slow down. Most days a scenario like this will
cause your bogey counter to show only one signal present, the grocery’s door
opener. On those occasions when there’s a cop lurking nearby, your signal
counter will show that there are two signals present.
